Proper care and maintenance of your board will ensure that you enjoy many years together. Below are some ways to extend the life of your board.
Do not store your board in direct sunlight. Keep in shaded areas - ideally in a garage or shed when not in use. Extreme heat is damaging to boards and is not covered under warranty. Rinse boards off after use (especially if it is ever used in salt water).
Fins should be removed occasionally and fin box(es) rinsed out. When getting on your board, walk the board out into the water far enough that the fin never comes in contact with the bottom. When coming into shore, hop off the board before hitting the shore and walk it in. Boards should be turned over with fin facing up when on the shore and not being used.
